In the upcoming "Temple Bar" of Belfast (ha!) Ba Soba Noodle Bar has a reasonable selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu, but unfortunately only one suitable for vegans (carrot, tofu and mango salad). However, staff are very friendly and readily put together vegan noodle dishes for us. All their rice has dairy products in it unfortunately, so the choice was slightly more limited than you would expect. Oh, and they ran out of tofu the night we were there - not expecting so many vegans no doubt! The wife of the manager is vegetarian, so they pride themselves on catering for veggies. It's pretty noisy fun place for a night out, and child friendly at the same time, although not the place for a quiet romantic meal for two! Seating is on communal benches, 10 to a table (like Wagamama noodle bar in Dublin).
