We find they are very open to vegans and my partner (the vegan) always gets a full meal, from starter to dessert, completely vegan. We go to Paradiso every time we end up in Cork. It's expensive, yes, but a real treat. And we always leave there uncomfortably full, which is different to what someone said above... We've stayed in their rooms too. Gorgeous! (Ask for the red room!) All in all, our very favourite veggie restaurant in Ireland. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, I'm not a vegetarian but the food is truely superb. Had the rice vermicelli, what a wonderful mixture of tastes. We ate at lunchtime, the service was great. Price wise it was not that expensive, 14 euros per main meal. put in perspective you would pay that for a meat dish in Cork. Go there it is well worth the visit for the vegetarians of this world.

Very nice food, but I felt the need for a burger afterwards as the portions were small. Obviously not a vegetarian, but do like vegetarian food. Excellent presentation, would have looked better as artwork on the wall than something for nourishment. Friendly staff. Now if they served portions like the Phoenix and I didn't have to mortgage the house for it, I'd be back in a flash. When in Cork that is!

Good food but super expensive. Attention to detail - good for a treat but not for regular eating unless you are loaded! Heavy on the cream and cheese too.

Dissapointed with the limited vegan menu. Good food though and the staff were great.

The best restaurant I have ever eaten in. Excellent food, atmosphere and staff. Pity Dublin doesn't have anything that comes close! You have to experience this place even if you're a meat eater - it will convert you!

An absolutely sublime resteraunt. Cafe Paradiso deserves all of the awards it has won, and rightly deserves the title of best Irish Vegetarian resteraunt. The food is prepared carefully by the chef every time, and you won't be disappointed, although it is on the pricy side. Must see at least once.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant- superb food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. If my boyfriend could eat there every night he'd convert to vegetarianism and that's saying something!!! Without a doubt the best restaurant in Cork whether you are a vegetarian or not!

Gourmet vegetarian food served up by extremely friendly staff. It’s child friendly too which is a real bonus. Unfortunately its vegan selection is extremely limited and if you are looking for a dairy free meal I’d advise you ring in advance.
