You either love it or you hate it, this is very different, Ethiopian/Eritrean food, very spicy and vegan out of the box! It serves meat as well, but as the menu explains, during Lent Ethiopian Orthodox Christians don't eat any meat or meat by products (dairy etc.), as close to vegan as you're going to get. So on the menu is the mixed vegetarian special (only 12,000 lira), made up of a lentil dish, a collard greens dish (like spinach), a light sauce (probably lentil based). All served with lots of injera, traditional leavened bread, a little like pancakes. And no cutlery. I also got an extremely spicy okra dish, plus felafel and chips (mild or very spicy). Definitely go here at least once. Evenings only.

The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. The only "main course" that we saw on the menu was the mixed veg. special, but they had several appetizers and side dishes as well. They were friendly, and spoke some English as well.
